1. What forms of payment are accepted?


We proudly accept the following safe and secure payment methods:

PayPal: PayPal is an online global secure payment system. A PayPal account is NOT required — just enter your credit card information when you are redirected to the PayPal site.

Credit Card: Pay securely on our site using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Our site encrypts your private information using a Comodo SSL Certificate.

Bank Wire Transfer (furikomi): If you are located in Japan and wish to pay using Bank Wire Transfer, please follow these steps:

2. Will my account be charged?


All subscriptions are set to renew automatically with the exception of the 7 Day Free Trial. If you signed up for the Fast Track to Swedish Fluency Package, per our terms of use, the Monthly Premium Subscription included will renew at the rate of $25 per month. If you are only signed up for the 7 Day Free Trial you will not be billed. Android and iOS apps are billed directly by Google and Apple respectively. Basically, if you have never entered your credit card or PayPal information you will not be billed.

3. How are subscriptions billed: Monthly or In Full?


All subscriptions are paid in full. The only monthly subscriptions are the 1 Month options: $25 for Premium, $8 for Basic and $47 for Premium PLUS where available.

4. How can I extend my subscription?


Your subscription can be extended via the Upgrade link in the top right corner of the screen as well as the Upgrade/Extend link on your Dashboard. Please remember to cancel the renewal of your old subscription to prevent double charges.

5. How do I upgrade my subscription?


To upgrade your subscription, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to the website by entering your username and password at the top right of any page
  2. Click on My Account in the top right corner or in the Quick Links menu on your Dashboard
  3. Go to Subscription Settings in the left menu
  4. Cancel your existing subscription by clicking on the "Do not auto-renew at the end of subscription term" link
  5. Click on the Subscribe button in the top menu
  6. Select the subscription that you wish to upgrade to
  7. Select your secure payment method and if you have a coupon enter it in the optional coupon field
  8. Click on the Order button and follow the instructions on the next screen

6. How can I check my subscription information?


To verify your subscription information please sign in and click on My Account in the top right corner or in the Quick Links menu of the Dashboard. On the Account page is a link on the left side of the screen titled Subscription Settings. From there you'll be able to see your subscription history, and you can also cancel automatic renewals from this screen.

7. How can I cancel my subscription?


For your convenience your subscription will automatically renew at the end of your term. You can easily cancel your membership and stop it from auto-renewing any time, online, 24 hours a day by following these simple steps:

  1. Log in to the website by entering your Username and Password at the top right of any page
  2. Click on the Account button in the top menu
  3. Click on Subscriptions Settings from the left navigation menu
  4. Click on the "Click here to stop this subscription from auto-renewing at the end of the term" link below your existing subscription

Please note that cancelling your subscription only prevents the next charge from kicking in: it does not suspend the service that you paid for in advance. Your subscription will remain active and fully functional until the paid through date listed on the "My Account" page. On that date, your account will cease to work and you will not be charged anymore. You don't have to wait until the last day to cancel your subscription.

8. Why did my subscription renew a day early?


Our servers are based in Japan. As such, depending on your location, it will be a day ahead. You do not lose any time as the subscription technically begins a calendar day ahead.

9. I ordered the Fast Track to Swedish Fluency Package. Why was I charged $25?


This charge is typically for a renewal of a 1 Month Premium subscription. If you ordered the Fast Track to Swedish Fluency Package, per our Terms of Use the Fast Track to Swedish Fluency Package is accompanied by a 1-Month Premium Subscription. If you have signed up for the UGS promotion, you receive an entire month of Premium access for FREE with the subscription renewing 30 days later.

10. Is there any type of guarantee?


We are so sure that you will find our paid subscriptions worth every penny that we will happily refund the full amount of your membership within 60 days if you are unsatisfied in any way - no questions asked!
