Becky: Here's the way to ask 'Where is the station?' in Swedish.
Carl: [Normal] Vart ligger stationen?
Becky: First is a word meaning 'where '
Carl: [Normal] vart [Slow] vart
Becky: Next is the word meaning 'is'
Carl: [Normal] ligger [Slow] ligger
Becky: Last is the word meaning 'the station'
Carl: [Normal] stationen [Slow] stationen
Becky: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the question meaning 'Where is the station?'
Carl: [Slow] Vart ligger stationen? [Normal] Vart ligger stationen?
Becky: Here's the way to answer, 'Go straight.'
Carl: [Normal] Gå rakt fram.
Becky: First is a word meaning 'go'
