Becky: Welcome to 3-Minute Swedish Season 1, Lesson 23 - Asking for the Bill. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask for the bill and check the change in Swedish.

Becky: Here's the way to ask 'Can you bring the bill, please?' in Swedish.
Carl: [Normal] Kan jag få notan, tack?
Becky: First is a word meaning 'can'
Carl: [Normal] kan [Slow] kan
Becky: Next is the word meaning 'I'
Carl: [Normal] jag [Slow] jag
Becky: Then comes the word meaning 'get'
Carl: [Normal] få [Slow] få
Becky: Followed by the word meaning 'bill'
Carl: [Normal] notan [Slow] notan
Becky: Last is the word meaning 'thanks'
Carl: [Normal] tack [Slow] tack

Hej Adolf,

"Ursäkta mig, jag tror inte det här är min nota." (Excuse me, I don't think this is my bill.) We use the word "nota" when speaking about the bill at a restaurant.:innocent:
