Becky: Welcome to 3-Minute Swedish Season 1, Lesson 5 - Making Apologies. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to apologise for yourself and say that you didn't do it on purpose or you are sorry in Swedish.

Becky: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Carl: Ursäkta wich means "sorry" is a very good word to remember. It can be used to get someone's attention, apologise for minor inconveniences such as bumping into someone, or excuse yourself for minor mishaps. But, if you have done something you truly feel sorry about, you usually say förlåt mig, meaning "I'm sorry."
