Hej Maggie,

Thank you very much for your feedback. Pronunciation is not easy, and especially not in Swedish! You have some great input, and I will make sure that I pass it along to my team right away. ๐Ÿ˜‡

Regarding the letter "Y:" when printed in the lesson, "Y" is described as being pronounced as in "Terry." However, the male teacher says that it is pronounced like 'eu' in French and 'euoo' in German (my attempts to write what he sounds like may not make much sense, but it is clear that what he says differs a lot from 'Terry.'). Maybe, what he means is that to say the letter "Y" it is pronounced like a hard, English language "E" but to use it in words, it sounds more like the French & German sounds? This should be clarified.

Tack!

Hej!

Mar 11, 2020

As I am at the beginning of learning, when the discussion of when to pronounce "k" as "sh" is shared, being able to see the recited list of vowels that trigger that pronunciation change would really help. Also, there's discussion of the "sj" sound and there's a list of 9 sets of letter combinations that are somehow related to this sound: it's not clear to me if all 9 are pronounced like "s" (ch, ge, rs, sch, etc.). The teachers quickly touch on how to say the number "7," but don't phonetically spell it (or write it in the lesson at all. Writing more in the lesson would help a lot.

Tack!

the person speaking contradicts the written explanations of a few of the vowels. U and Y especially. i don't know which to believe, the written words or the person speaking.
