Where is the first place you’d like to visit by bus in Sweden?

Hej Adolf,
“För att jag vill besöka Lisaberg.” (Because I want to visit Liseberg.) 😇
Jag också! (Me too!) 😜
In Swedish we don’t use “gå” when it’s too far to walk, we say “åka”.
For example: Om jag åker till Göteborg så kommer jag att besöka Liseberg. (If I go to Gothemburg I will visit Liseberg.)

Hej Adof,
Vill du besöka Liseberg? (Would you like to visit Liseberg?)
“Precis som” means “just like” and is used more like “du ser precis ut som din pappa.” (You look just like your dad.)

Hej Kvinna Stratton!

Thank you for your commet and great work!

In Swedish however the word “gå” is used when you are actually walking, so a more appropriate word to use when you travel somewhere with transportation is the verb “åka”. Also instead of using the preposition “på” you should use “med”. Also the word order is more natural if you put “central stationen” and “i Stockholm” together.

So instead of “jag skulle vilja gå till central stationen på buss i Stockholm” you could say “Jag skulle vilja gå till central stationen i Stockholm med buss.”

It is very good that you are practicing and keep it up!

Cheers,

I cannot hear the lesson, but I hope it deals with using your Visa/Mastercard to buy the bus tickets. That was what I used in Umeå and Skellefteå in June - what the bus companies prefer - and it worked extremely well.
