Jesper: att krångla |
Jesper: att kötta |
Jesper: att kröka |
Sydney: Jesper, what's our first expression? |
Jesper: att dra |
Sydney: literally meaning "to pull." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to leave, to take off, to go." |
Jesper: [SLOW] att dra [NORMAL] att dra |
Sydney: Listeners, please repeat. |

Sydney: Use this slang expression when you need to leave or take off from somewhere. |
Jesper: It can be used in the same way as the Swedish verb "att sticka" introduced in the last lesson. |

Jesper: att krångla |
Sydney: literally meaning "to fuss." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to make things difficult, to fuss, to be difficult and complicated." |
Jesper: [SLOW] att krångla [NORMAL] att krångla |

Sydney: Use this slang expression when someone is being difficult about something, or when something is complicated and difficult to do. |

Sydney: "Stop making it so difficult, it's not that hard." |

Sydney: literally meaning "to meat." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to work really hard on something." |

Sydney: Use this slang expression when you're working really hard on something, usually under great pressure. This is often used by students who are cramming for an exam. |

Sydney: literally meaning "to curve." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to drink a lot." |

Jesper: The word krökning can be used as a noun for drinking a lot. For example, Krökning är inget för mig. |
