We don't have the word "universidad" in Swedish! Did you mean "universitet"?

I understand your question though, if you mean "universitetet" ! :smile:

When saying it fast, it's just easier to say "sh" than "rs", so that's why we say it like "univeshitetet". Just for convenience!

Thank you for this lesson.

I find a difference between the way 'universidad' is pronounce when breaking in syllables: 'si' is like 'c' in word 'city'; but when the word is entirely pronounce the 'si' sounds like 'sh' in words English or Swedish.

Please explain this difference. Thank you.
